La Storia Inglese:

Once upon a time in a world that was larger than large, there was this great big country. Under this great big counry's sky that was higher than high two teeny tiny Finns met each other for the first time as a co-incidence. This county was known as the United States of A, and the Finns, theatre artists, went by the names A.K and R.P.

In that blazing hot summer many theatre artists from different corners of this world that was larger than larger had wandered to this same place, as if as a co-incidence. There was a dream that was burning in their hearts. They wanted to form a community – and so they did. For four-weeks-time in Saratoga Springs, New York, this great big community of teeny tiny people lived together: they talked with each other, listened to one another and ate together They slept, trained, sweated, relaxed, cried, fought and loved . And most of all made theatre together.

Then one morning all sixty of them, after a rich breakfast, started moving to their own directions the world that was larger than large. The illusion of a sustaining community vanished like a soap bubble landing on concrete.

This left a gaping hole to the hearts of the Finns. Then there was an idea. Arctic Reach Ensemble was born to fill the hole. The need for a community created a community. An ensemble - AR Ensemble was born.
